Floor Panel Reinforcement Replacement V6 and V8 w/6 SPD

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  2. Object Number: 368319  Size: SH
  3. Remove the floor panel center reinforcement bolts.
  4. Remove the floor panel center reinforcement.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 368319  Size: SH
  1. Install the floor panel center reinforcement.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the floor panel center reinforcement bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the floor panel center reinforcement bolts to 27 N·m (20 lb ft).

  5. Lower the vehicle.

  3. Remove the floor panel center reinforcement bolts and washers from the transmission support.
  4. Remove the floor panel center reinforcement bolts and washers at the underbody.
  5. Remove the floor panel center reinforcement.

  1. Install the floor panel center reinforcement.
  2. Install the floor panel center reinforcement bolts and washers at the underbody.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application.
