1. Open the driver door.
2. Open the passenger door.
3. Open the rear compartment lid.
4. Turn on the reading lamp switches in the rearview mirror.
5. Unlock the vehicle using the keyless entry function.
6. Observe the courtesy lamps.

Do the courtesy lamps illuminate during all of the above actions?

Test for and repair a poor connection at the BCM connector C2 terminal E. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Go to Step 4

Test for and repair a poor connection at the BCM connector C3 terminal D1. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and repair a poor connection?

Go to Step 5

Important: Perform the set up procedure for the body control module.

Replace the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.
