Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 535678 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.
  2. Pull the corner of water deflector back as needed.
  3. Remove the door speaker bolts.
  4. Pull the door speaker forward to access the electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the door speaker electrical connector.
  6. Remove the door speaker from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the door speaker electrical connector.
  2. Install the speaker to the door.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the door speaker bolts using the sequence on the speaker housing.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  4. Press the water deflector back into place.
  5. Install the front side door trim. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.
