1. Set the clock and the preset stations on the radio.
2. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
3. Turn the ignition back to the RUN position.
4. Observe the clock and the preset stations.

Do the clock and the preset stations remain where they were set?

Connect a test lamp between the radio harness connector C1 terminal 10 and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
