  1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
  2. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.

Do the park lamps illuminate?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the left park lamp.
  2. Leave the headlamp switch in the PARK position.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the supply voltage circuit of the left park lamp and the ground circuit of the left park lamp. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Replace the left park lamp. Refer to one of the following procedures:

Test for and repair a poor connection or an open in the supply voltage circuit of the left park lamp. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections or Circuit Testing and Connector Repairs or Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and repair a poor connection or an open?

Go to Step 6

Repair a poor connection or an open in the left park lamp ground circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?
