Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Turn the headlamps on.
  2. Turn the front fog lamp switch on.
  3. Turn the rear fog lamp switch on (Europe).

Do all of the fog lamps illuminate?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the inoperative lamp.
  2. Turn on the front fog lamps.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the supply voltage circuit of the inoperative fog lamp connector control circuit and the ground circuit of the inoperative fog lamp ground circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Replace the inoperative lamp. Refer to one of the following procedures:

Connect a test lamp between the supply voltage circuit of the inoperative fog lamp and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair a poor connection or an open in the ground circuit of the inoperative lamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Repair a poor connection or an open in the supply voltage circuit of the inoperative lamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
