  1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
  2. Turn on the left turn signal.

Does the right turn signal indicator illuminate?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

  1. Remove the instrument cluster.
  2. Connect a test lamp from the instrument cluster connector terminal B10 to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Place the multi-function lever in the right turn position.

Does the test lamp blink on then off?

Test for and repair a poor connection at the instrument cluster terminal B10. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and repair a poor connection?

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Cluster, Gauges, and Console.

Repair the open in circuit 1415 (USA or Gulf States) or circuit 15 (Europe or Japan). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
