  1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
  2. Turn on the right turn signal.

Does the right rear turn signal lamp flash?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the right rear turn signal lamp.
  2. Leave the right turn signal switch on.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the supply voltage circuit of the right rear turn signal lamp and the ground circuit of the turn signal lamp. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp flash?

Replace the inoperative lamp. Refer to one of the following procedures:

Connect a test lamp between the supply voltage circuit of the right rear turn signal lamp and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp flash?

Repair a poor connection or an open in the ground circuit of the right rear turn signal lamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair a poor connection or an open in the supply voltage circuit of the right rear turn signal lamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
