  1. Connect a test lamp between C216 terminal K and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
  2. Turn the hazard lamp switch on.

Does the test lamp flash off and on?

Replace the turn/hazard switch assembly. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement in Steering.

Connect a test lamp between the hazard lamp flasher terminal B and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp flash off and on?

Repair a poor connection or an open in the signal circuit of the hazard flasher. Refer to Wiring Repairs or Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Connect a test lamp between the hazard lamp flasher terminal A and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?
