This bulletin is being issued to give dealerships one source for engine head bolt specifications. These specifications are the most current listing available.

The entries under the heading "Torque Head Bolt To" is the "Torque To" for one complete pass thru the "Torque Sequence," when a second specification is listed, that should be used for a second pass thru the torque sequence listed. After completing the torque sequence(s) then proceed to the entries listed under "Rotate To Angle Of." This is the angle in degrees that each bolt should be rotated following the complete torque sequence. Each entry listed represents one pass thru the sequence.
