SERVICE ADVISOR AND TECHNICIAN NUMBER

When submitting warranty claims, remember that a valid employee number is required for the Service Advisor's and Technician's number. The employee number must be numeric and can be up to four (4) characters.

The dealer assigned employee's number must be loaded into the Dealer Service Personnel table along with the employee's Social Security Number, Name and the title code.

If "A/C/D" = A - All fields except INIT must contain data. If "A/C/D" = C - Social Security Number and at least one other field must contain data.

If "A/C/D" = D - Social Security Number must contain data.

After completing the table, the DCS operator will be able to enter the employee's number in the Service Advisor or Technician Number field and the software will automatically display the last four (4) digits of the employee's social security number in the field.

Refer to your Vendor's Operator Guide for additional information on the use of your particular DCS terminal.
