Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    2. Object Number: 700396 Size: SH
  2. Pinch the tabs on the HVAC control module and pull rearward to remove from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 700396 Size: SH

    Important: The ignition must be in the OFF position when installing the HVAC control module to ensure proper actuator calibration.

  1. Install the HVAC control module into the instrument panel.
  2. Install the IPC trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    3. Important: Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control module while the HVAC control module is self-calibrating. If interrupted improper HVAC performance will result.

    The engine must be running for proper calibration to occur.

  3. Start the engine and let run for one minute.
