Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement VINK

1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.



2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the EVAP purge valve.
3. Disconnect the hoses to the EVAP purge valve.



4. Bend the tab on the valve mounting bracket to remove the EVAP purge valve.
5. Remove the EVAP purge valve.

1. Bend the tab on the mounting bracket for the EVAP purge valve in order to install the EVAP purge valve.
2. Install the EVAP purge valve.



3. Connect the hoses to the EVAP purge valve.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the EVAP purge valve.
5. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.

Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement VIN1

1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.



2. Disconnect the electrical connector and the hoses from the EVAP purge valve.
3. Bend the tab on the purge valve mounting bracket in order to remove the EVAP purge valve.



4. Remove the EVAP purge valve from the bracket.

1. Bend the tab on the purge valve mounting bracket in order to install the valve.
2. Install the EVAP purge valve.



3. Connect the hoses and the electrical connector to the EVAP purge valve.
4. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.
