CHIRP/SQUEAK-GLASS CHANNEL APPLY SILICONE PASTE

Subject: CHIRP OR SQUEAK NOISE FROM GLASS RUN CHANNEL CONTACT TO DRIP RAIL (APPLY SILICONE PASTE)

Models Affected: 1992 BONNEVILLE MODELS

CONDITION:

---------- A chirp or squeak sound may be heard on 1992 Bonneville models from the glass run channel rubber molding where it contacts the drip rail.

CORRECTION:

----------- To correct this condition, apply silicone paste GM Part Number 12345579 to the portion of the run channel that contacts the drip rail molding in the areas shown on the illustration. The silicone paste should be applied the entire length of the run channel lip on both the front and rear doors.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
