INSUFFICIENT HEATER AIR AT THE DRIVERS FEET/FACE

Subject: INSUFFICIENT HEATER AIR AT DRIVER'S FEET/OR HOT AIR BLOWING ON DRIVER'S FACE (INSPECTION PROCEDURE)

Models Affected: 1987-91 BONNEVILLE MODELS

The incorrect heater outlet duct could be installed if the car is equipped with a console.

CORRECTION:

----------- A console equipped car heater duct, Part Number 25557578, has the driver's side outlet half covered so the air will not blow into the console. A non-console car heater duct, Part Number 25537359, has both outlets open. See Figure 1.

The duct is retained by two (2) screws that can be removed through the ashtray opening.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
