SERVICE REPLACEMENT TRANS. ASSEMBLY (SRTA) PROGRAM

ALL 1982-1986 MODELS

Pontiac would like to remind all dealers that the THM 125C Service Replacement Transmission Assembly (SRTA) Program was announced October 1, 1987.

All 1982-1986 125C SRTA models are currently available. The 1987-1988 125 SRTA models will be released in the near future. Your Parts Department Manager has model applications and part listings.

The 125C SRTA Program is customer satisfaction driven and parallels the existing and highly successful THM 440-T4 and THM 700-R4 programs. These programs are specifically designed to provide your dealership with a service alternative when addressing diagnostic and overhaul concerns. All 125C SRTA units are designed and remanufactured to current engineering specifications and are often less costly than major overhaul.

Your GMSPO Parts Distribution Center is committed to 48 hour maximum delivery time on all SRTA models, with no VIP charges to your dealership.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these programs or delivery service, please contact your local GMSPO Parts Distribution Center.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
