Problem

Action

The springs are broken or sagging.

Repair as necessary. Refer to Trim Height Inspection in Wheel Alignment.

The stabilizer shaft is loose or disconnected.

Inspect the stabilizer shaft links and insulators for damage. Repair or replace any damaged components.

For the stabilizer shaft link replacement, refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .

For the stabilizer shaft insulator replacement, refer to Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement .

The strut dampener is worn.

Repair as necessary. Refer to Strut, Strut Component, and Spring Replacement .

The vehicle is overloaded.

Reduce the vehicle load. Refer to Vehicle Certification, Tire Placard, Anti-Theft, and Service Parts ID Label in Maintenance and Lubrication.

The tire pressure(s) is incorrect.

Inflate the tire(s) to proper specifications. Refer to Tire Inflation Pressure Specifications in Maintenance and Lubrication.
