DELCOTRON GROUND WIRE BROKEN NEW PLASTIC CLIP

Some T1000 models may exhibit alternator ground wire breakage due to bending fatique caused by th alternator vibrating in its rubber mounts.

This condition can be corrected by securing the ground wire in a plastic clip (part number 8900116) an installing the clip in the specified hole on the back of the alternator. See diagrams (shown below as well as on the reverse side).

This change started in production on January 11, 1983 with V.I.N. DY156832.
