THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND REPLACES BULLETIN 93-WA-22A ISSUED 7/93. THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO CORRECT FIGURES UNDER BASIC COVERAGE FOR VIN CODE N AND P. PLEASE DISCARD BULLETIN 93-WA-22A.

Warranty claims on all Canadian Pontiac vehicles, except the Tempest, Firefly, Sunfire and Sunbirds produced in Mexico (First digit of VIN is a "3"), may be processed routinely as with U.S. sold and registered units. When submitting a claim, we ask that you convert kilometers to miles by using the following formula because the Warranty Claim Payment system does not recognize kilometers.

km X 0.625 miles/km - Example: 50,000 km X 0.625 miles=31,250 miles

By using this formula, claims should not reject for mileage.

Tempest, Firefly Sunfire And Sunbird Models produced in Mexico.

If the owner of one of these vehicles requires warranty work, the Pontiac dealer may perform the work or sublet the vehicle to the nearest Chevrolet dealer.

The repair should be submitted to Pontiac on warranty claim document 7201-726. The completed form should be mailed to the following address.

1. Air conditioning coverage 12/unlimited kilometers.

2. Owner pays $100 deductible after 12 months/20,000 kilometers (whichever occurs first). Deductible automatically be deducted from claim by Pontiac.
