Preliminary Procedures

1. Release electric park brake.

1.1.	Set ignition in Run mode and put your foot on top of the service brake.

1.2.	Press park brake switch down and hold for 5 seconds, then a solid yellow telltale is shown on instrument panel.

1.3.	Press park brake switch again within 5 seconds, then a flashing yellow telltale is shown on instrument panel.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
4. Remove the rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

Park Brake Cable Equalizer

Procedure

1. Carefully position the driveline tunnel insulator downward just enough to access the cable equalizer.
2. Remove the clip and disconnect the cables from the equalizer.

Procedure

Disconnect the park brake cables from the park brake actuator levers on the brake calipers.
