Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
2. Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement.
3. Remove the front wheelhouse front liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement.
4. Remove the front wheelhouse rear liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Rear Liner Replacement.
5. Remove the front side turn signal lamp. Refer to Front Side Turn Signal Lamp Replacement.
6. Remove the body hinge pillar lower insulator. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Lower Insulator Replacement.

Front Fender Fastener (Qty: 7)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Use a grease pencil to mark the alignment of the fender before removing the fastener.

Tighten
9 N·m (79.7 lb in)

Procedure

Open the door to access the fastener.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Procedure

1. Pull gently to remove the fender.
2. Transfer parts as needed.
3. Align the fender after installing as needed.
