Hood Hinge Fastener (Qty: 2)

Warning:  When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Mark the location of the hood hinge to the hood with a grease pencil to aid in alignment.

Tighten
20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Tip
Adjust the hood hinge after replacing, if needed.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)
