Preliminary Procedure Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement.
1	Hood Hinge Nut (Qty: 4) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tip Disconnect the wiring harness from the hood on both sides. Mark the hood for proper alignment for re-installing. Tighten 25 N·m (18 lb ft)
2	Hood Warning: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

Tip

Tighten
