Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear 60/40 Split Bench

1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the recliner trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement in Seats.
3. Remove the rear seat riser. Refer to Rear Seat Riser Replacement in Seats.
4. Remove the seat cushion cover retainers from the seat frame.



5. Remove the bolts securing the buckle side belts from the seat cushion frame.



6. Remove the buckle side belts (1) from the seat.
7. Remove the bolt (2) securing the mini-buckle from the 60 percent seat cushion frame.

1. Install the bolt (2) securing the mini-buckle to the 60 percent seat cushion frame.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the buckle side belts (1) to the seat.

Tighten
Tighten the mini-buckle bolt to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).




3. Install the bolts securing the buckle side belts to the seat cushion frame.

Tighten
Tighten the rear seat buckle belt bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

4. Install the seat cushion cover retainers to the seat frame.
5. Install the rear seat riser. Refer to Rear Seat Riser Replacement in Seats.
6. Install the recliner trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement in Seats.
7. Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.

Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear 50/50 Split Bench

1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove recliner trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement in Seats.
3. Remove the rear seat riser. Refer to Rear Seat Riser Replacement in Seats.



4. Remove the seat cushion cover retainers (1) from the bottom of the seat frame.
5. Remove the bolts securing the center buckle belts from the seat cushion frame.
6. Remove the center buckle belts from the seat.

1. Install the center buckle belts to the seat.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Tighten
Tighten the rear seat center belt bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

3. Install the seat cushion cover retainers (1) to the bottom of the seat frame.
4. Install the rear seat riser. Refer to Rear Seat Riser Replacement in Seats.
5. Install the recliner trim cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement in Seats.
6. Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.

Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear Full Bench

1. Remove the convenience storage tray, if equipped.



2. Remove the bolts securing the belts to the seat cushion frame.
3. Remove the center belts from the seat.

1. Install the center belts to the seat.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the bolts securing the center belts to the seat cushion frame.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).




3. Install the convenience storage tray.

Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear Center Bucket

1. Remove the center bucket from the vehicle.



2. Remove the screw holding the trim cover to the recliner.



3. Remove the recliner bolts from the seat cushion frame.



4. Remove the seat back from the seat cushion.



5. Remove the seat riser.



6. Bend the side J-hooks to release the seat cover.



7. Remove the seat cushion from the seat pan.



8. Remove the seat belt retractor from the seat frame.



9. Remove the seat belt buckle from the seat frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the seat belt buckle to the seat frame.

Tighten
Tighten the seat belt mini buckle bolt to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).




2. Install the seat belt retractor to the seat frame.

Tighten
Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).




3. Install the seat cushion and cover to the seat pan.



4. Install the seat riser to the seat frame.

Tighten
Tighten the seat riser bolts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).




5. Install the seat back to the seat cushion.



6. Install the recliner bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the recliner bolts to 32 N·m (24 lb ft).




7. Install the center bucket to the vehicle.
