Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 318106  Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

  2. Object Number: 318109  Size: SH
  3. Remove the multifuction switch assembly screws from the switch bank to instrument panel.
  4. Pull straight out from the instrument panel in order to remove the switch bank from the instrument panel.

  5. Object Number: 318110  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 318110  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Push in on the switch bank in order to install the switch bank.

  3. Object Number: 318109  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the multifunction switch assembly screws to the switch bank to instrument panel.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the multifunction switch assembly screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  6. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
