Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 717619  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear climate control. Refer to Auxiliary Heater and Air Conditioning Control Module Replacement in HVAC Systems-Manual.
  2. Remove the rear seat audio (RSA). Refer to Audio/Video Rear Seat Audio Tee Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the overhead speakers. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement .
  4. Position the video screen in the downward position.
  5. Remove the overhead console screws from the video entertainment system.
  6. Remove the overhead console from the headliner.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the overhead console to the headliner.
  2. Install the overhead console screws to the video entertainment system.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Align the video entertainment system overhead console with the video screen.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the overhead console screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Return the video screen to the up position.
  7. Install the overhead speakers. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement .
  8. Install the rear seat audio (RSA). Refer to Audio/Video Rear Seat Audio Tee Module Replacement .
  9. Install the rear climate control. Refer to Auxiliary Heater and Air Conditioning Control Module Replacement in HVAC Systems-Manual.
