Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the clips that are retaining the air ducts.

  3. Object Number: 691373  Size: SH
  4. Remove the mid upper air distribution duct from the C-pillar.

  5. Object Number: 691370  Size: SH
  6. Remove the bottom air distribution duct from the C-pillar.

  7. Object Number: 691371  Size: SH
  8. Remove the middle air distribution duct bolts.
  9. Remove the middle air distribution duct from the auxiliary HVAC module assembly.
  10. Remove the middle air distribution duct from the rear quarter.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 691371  Size: SH
  1. Install the middle air distribution duct to the rear quarter.
  2. Install the middle air distribution duct to the auxiliary HVAC module assembly .
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the middle air distribution duct bolts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the bottom air distribution duct to the C-pillar.

  7. Object Number: 691373  Size: SH
  8. Install the mid upper air distribution duct to the C-pillar.
  9. Install the retaining clips to the air duct system.
  10. Install the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
