Rear Side Door Center Track Cover Replacement With RPO E58

1. Remove the right rear tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.



2. Remove the sliding door center track cover rear screw.
3. Open the sliding door.



4. Remove the sliding door center track bracket screws.
5. Remove the sliding door center track bracket from the vehicle.

1. Install the sliding door center track bracket to the vehicle.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the sliding door center track bracket screws.

Tighten
Tighten the sliding door center track bracket screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

3. Install the sliding door center track cover rear screw.

Tighten
Tighten the sliding door center track cover rear screw to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

4. Install the right rear tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
5. Close the sliding door.

Rear Side Door Center Track Cover Replacement With RPO E59

1. Remove the left rear tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
2. Open the left sliding door.



3. Remove the left sliding door center track cover front bolt.



4. Remove the left sliding door center track cover to cable guide bracket bolt.
5. Remove the left sliding door center track cover from the vehicle.

1. Install the left sliding door center track cover to the vehicle.

2. Install the left sliding door center track cover to cable guide bracket bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the left sliding door center track cover to cable guide bracket bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).




3. Install the left sliding door center track cover front bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the left sliding door center track cover front bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

4. Install the left rear tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
5. Close the left sliding door.
