Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.

  2. Object Number: 812955  Size: SH
  3. Remove the air distribution duct to HVAC module assembly bolts.
  4. Disconnect the air distribution duct and re-position for access to the blower motor relay.
  5. Remove the blower motor relay from the mounting bracket.
  6. Slide the relay up to disconnect from the relay bracket.

  7. Disconnect blower motor relay electrical connector.
  8. Remove the blower motor relay.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the blower motor relay.
  2. Connect the blower motor relay electrical connector.
  3. Install the blower motor relay to the mounting bracket.
  4. Connect the air distribution duct to the HVAC module assembly.

  5. Object Number: 812955  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the air distribution duct to HVAC module assembly bolts.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  8. Install the left lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
