Front Bumper Fascia Replacement Chevrolet

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove both of the front tire and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.

  3. Object Number: 314037  Size: SH
  4. Remove the right and left front fender liner. Refer to Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Remove the front park/turn signal/side marker lamp. Refer to Park/Turn Signal/Side Marker Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  6. Use the J 38778 to remove the push-in retainers from the upper and lower front bumper fascia.
  7. Remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 314037  Size: SH
  1. Align the front bumper to the front impact bar and to the body.
  2. Install the push-in retainers to the upper and lower front bumper fascia.
  3. Install the front park/turn signal/sidemarker lamp. Refer to Park/Turn Signal/Side Marker Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  4. Install the right and left front fender liner. Refer to Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Install both of the front tire and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Lower the vehicle.

Removal Procedure

  2. Remove both of the front tire and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.

  4. Remove the right and left front fender liner. Refer to Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  5. Remove the front park/turn signal/side marker lamp. Refer to Park/Turn Signal/Side Marker Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  6. Use the J 38778 to remove the push-in retainers from the upper and lower front bumper fascia.
  7. Remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Align the front bumper to the front impact bar and to the body.

  6. Use the J 38778 to remove the push-in retainers from the upper and lower front bumper fascia.
  7. Remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Align the front bumper to the front impact bar and to the body.

  6. Lower the vehicle.
