Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 601871  Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the brake pressure sensor connector.
  3. Remove the brake pressure sensor.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 601871  Size: SH
  1. Make sure the O-ring is installed properly on the brake pressure sensor.
  2. Install the brake pressure sensor.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Tighten
    Tighten the brake pressure sensor to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  4. Connect the brake pressure sensor connector.
  5. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, engine off.
  6. Perform the Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding in Hydraulic Brakes.
  7. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
