WATER LEAK AT VISTA VENT IMPROVE SEALING OF VISTA VENT

MODELS/YEARS: 1985-1986 CALAIS AND FIRENZA MODELS

New vista vent (sunroof) hinges have been released for service on 1985 and 1986 Calais and Firenza models.

The new hinges are available through WDDGM under part no. 20696950. The new hinges are made from hardened steel and are designed to give better performance and deflection characteristics to maintain proper seal to glass contact pressure.

When it is necessary to correct a water leak due to weak hinges or when the vista vent seal is being replaced, it is recommended these new hinges be used.

Any sunroof glan in stock prior to this bulletin should have the now hinges installed before it is placed in service.
