The formed headliner is of modular construction. The formed headliner is attached to the roof with the following components:

    • The push-pins in the sunshade center supports
    • The assist handle (if equipped)
    • The rail mounted courtesy/reading lamps

In order to remove the formed headliner, remove the following components:

    • The front pillar moldings
    • The center pillar moldings
    • The quarter panel trim
    • The upper portion of the weather-strip around the door openings

Use the hook and loop fastener tabs in order to keep the headliner in place.

Use the push-pins in order to attach components to the roof.

Important: Save the metal retainer clips when removing the push-pins.

Place the metal retainer clip over the tip of the push-pin in order to facilitate insertion.

Insert each push-pin into the appropriate opening in the retainer The retainer is located behind the formed headliner.

Remove trim components in order to hold the retainer in position during replacement (if necessary).
