Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 401178 Size: SH
  1. Remove the push-pin (3) from the rail mounted assist handle.
  2. Remove the fasteners from under the assist handle (1).
  3. Carefully lower the assist handle from the headliner.
  4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector, if equipped.
  5. Remove the assist handle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 401178 Size: SH
  1. Connect the wiring harness connector, if equipped.
  2. Align the following components:
    3. • The retainer behind the headliner
    • The headliner opening
    • The assist handle
  3. Install the push-pins.
  4. Press the push-pin (3) into place in order to secure the assist handle to the roof.
