  1. Hold the LH lumbar switch in the INFLATE position.
  2. Backprobe with a DMM from the LH lumbar air pump connector power cavity (RED) to connector C312 cavity B (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15V

Replace the LH lumbar air pump.

  1. Hold the RH lumbar switch in the INFLATE position.
  2. Backprobe with a DMM from the RH lumbar air pump connector power cavity (RED) to connector C313 cavity B (BLK).

  1. Disconnect the seat air control module connector.
  2. Connect a DMM from the seat air control module connector cavity F (ORN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

  1. Connect a DMM from the seat air control module connector cavity F (ORN) to cavity B (BLK).
  2. Connect a DMM from the seat air control module connector cavity F (ORN) to cavity E (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range for both ground cavities?

  1. Connect a DMM from battery positive voltage (B+) to the seat air control module connector cavity A (BLK).
  2. Move the seat select switch to operate the inoperative seat.

Is the voltage within the specified range with the switch operated?

10-15V

  1. Connect a DMM from the seat air control module connector cavity D (WHT) to ground.
  2. Operate any of the inflate switches.

Is the voltage within the specified range with the switches operated?

  1. Connect a DMM from the seat air control module connector cavity H (GRY) to ground.
  2. Operate any of the deflate switches.

Is the voltage within the specified range with the switches operated?

  2. Operate any of the inflate switches.

  2. Operate any of the deflate switches.
