  1. Close all of the doors.
  2. Place the interior lamp switch in the OFF position.

All of the interior lamps are in the OFF position.

Place the interior lamp switch in the ON position.

All of the interior lamps light.

  1. Place the interior lamp switch in the OFF position.
  2. Open and close each door one at a time.

All of the interior lamps light with the door open and stay lit for approximately 25 seconds after the door is closed.

Lift the handle on each front door one at a time (with C97/T2T).

All of the interior lamps light for approximately 25 seconds and then fade out.

  1. Inspect for an open in CKT 440 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and the cigar lighter.
  2. Inspect for an open in CKT 1250 (BLK) between S287 and the cigar lighter.
  3. If OK, replace the cigar lighter.

Each cigar lighter pops up and the heating element is red hot.

Cigar Lighter Inoperative.

  1. Inspect for an open in CKT 1732 (ORN) between S254 and the IP compartment lamp.
  2. Inspect for an open in CKT 1250 (BLK) between S213 and the IP compartment lamp.
  3. If OK, replace the IP compartment lamp.

The IP compartment lamp lights.

Open the rear compartment lid.

The rear compartment lamp lights.

  1. Inspect for an open in CKT 32 (YEL) between S223 and the underhood lamp.
  2. Inspect for an open in CKT 1150 (BLK) between S128 and the underhood lamp.
  3. If OK, replace the underhood lamp.

The underhood lamp lights.

Underhood Lamp Inoperative

  1. Inspect for an open in CKT 1732 (ORN) between S334 and the inoperative vanity mirror lamp.
  2. Inspect for an open in CKT 1250 (BLK) between S332 and the inoperative vanity mirror lamp.
  3. If OK, replace the inoperative vanity mirror.

Each of the vanity mirror lamp lights.
