J 41352 Modular Column Holding Fixture

1. If reusing the original SIR coil assembly, refer to Inflatable Restraint Coil Centering - Off Vehicle (Column Shift And Floor Shift) .

Important: A new SIR coil assembly will be pre-centered. Do not remove the orange tab from the new SIR coil assembly until the installation is complete.

2. Feed the SIR coil assembly connector through the steering column housing.
3. Align the SIR coil assembly with the horn tower on the turn signal cancel cam assembly.
4. Install the wire protector into the support bracket.



5. Install the retaining ring.
6. Remove and discard the orange tab if using a new SIR coil.



7. Install the SIR coil assembly connector (1) to the fused jumper assembly connector (2).



8. Install the wire harness assembly into the wire harness strap (1).
9. Remove the steering column from J 41352 .
