Removal Procedure

1. Raise the hood.
2. Install the protective fender covering over the fenders in order to prevent damage to the paint.
3. Remove the wiper arms and blade assemblies. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement In Wiper/Washer Systems.



4. Remove the air inlet screen retainers (1).
5. Remove the air inlet screen (2).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the air inlet screen (2).
2. Install the air inlet screen retainers (1).
3. Install the wiper arms and blade assemblies. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wiper/Washer Systems.
4. Remove the protective fender coverings.
