Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 444975 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left and right rear taillamp assemblies. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  2. Remove the fascia retaining nuts from the inside rear compartment.

    3. Object Number: 277213 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts (1) from the rear fascia (3) in the rear wheel housing.

    4. Object Number: 277214 Size: SH
  4. Remove the push-in retainers (2) from the top edge of the fascia (3).
  5. Remove the push-in retainers (2) from the lower edge of the fascia (3).

    6. Object Number: 277204 Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear fascia (3) from the impact bar (1).

    7. Object Number: 277209 Size: SH
  7. Twist the license lamp socket from the fascia (3).
  8. Remove the side reinforcement screws (2) from each side of the fascia (4).
  9. Remove the side reinforcements (1) from the fascia (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 277209 Size: SH
  1. Install the side reinforcements (1) to the fascia (4).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the side reinforcement screws (2) to the fascia (4).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the rear fascia (3) to the impact bar (1).
  4. Install the license lamp socket to the fascia (3).

    5. Object Number: 444975 Size: SH
  5. Install the fascia retaining nuts from the inside rear compartment.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).


    Object Number: 277213 Size: SH
  6. Install the bolts (1) to the rear fascia on the rear wheel housing.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).


    Object Number: 277214 Size: SH
  7. Install the push-in retainers (2) to the lower edge of the fascia (3).
  8. Install the push-in retainers (2) to the top edge of the fascia (3).
  9. Install the left and right rear taillamp assemblies. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
