Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the headlamp assembly in order to gain access to the horn. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.

    2. Object Number: 444969 Size: SH
  2. Remove the nut (2) from the front impact bar.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the horns (3).
  4. Remove the horns (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 444969 Size: SH
  1. Install the horns (3) to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the nut (3) to the front impact bar.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the horns (3).
  4. Install the headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
