For 1990-2009 cars only
- Turn the adjusting screw in the following manner until a 4.5-5.5 amp current draw is reached. Do NOT turn the adjusting screw too far.
- Turn the screw ¼ of a turn at one time. If the adjustment loosens the screw excessively, stake the screw with a punch.
