Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 443800  Size: SH
  1. Remove the accessory trim plate from the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  2. Remove the screws (3) from the radio (2).
  3. Remove the radio (2) from the instrument panel.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1,4) from the rear of the radio (2).
  5. Disconnect the antenna lead (5) from the rear of the radio (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the antenna lead (5) to the radio (2).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors (1,4) to the radio (2).
  3. Push the radio (2) into place in the instrument panel.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the screws (3) to the radio (2).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the accessory trim plate to the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
