Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

    2. Object Number: 187379 Size: SH
  2. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide adjuster cover (3).
  3. Remove the retractor side belt bolt.
  4. Remove the guide track cover (2) from the shoulder belt .
  5. Remove the bolts from the shoulder belt guide track.
  6. Remove the shoulder belt guide track (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 187379 Size: SH
  1. Install the shoulder belt guide track (1).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolts to the shoulder belt guide track.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).

  3. Install the guide track cover (2).
  4. Install the retractor side belt bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  5. Inspect the guide adjuster cover for broken tabs. Replace the cover if the tabs are broken.
  6. Install the guide adjuster cover (3) to the shoulder belt.
  7. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
