Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Wheel Removal in Tires and Wheels.



3. Remove the splash shield retainers (2) from the front wheelhouse panel.
4. Remove the splash shield bolts (3) from the front wheelhouse panel.
5. Remove the splash shield (4) from the front wheelhouse panel.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the splash shield (4) to the front wheelhouse panel.
2. Install the splash shield bolts (3) to the front wheelhouse panel.
3. Install the splash shield retainers (2) to the front wheelhouse panel.
4. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Wheel Installation in Tires and Wheels.
5. Lower the vehicle.
