System tests, using the scan tool, allow for the display
of values as actually seen or commanded by the following various systems:
The test types available are dependent upon the system selected, but
may include the following types:
| | Data (Analog Inputs) display analog values as seen by the system. |
| - | Inputs and outputs display digital values as seen by the system. |
| - | Inputs and outputs provide an indication of whether the input
or output has cycled. |
| • | Special Functions (output controls) |
| | Special Functions (output controls) allow for outputs of the system
to be set at a desired value (ON or OFF). |
| | Clear Codes will erase all of the DTCs stored for the system currently
selected. If the malfunction is still present, the DTC may immediately reset. |
