| • | The CS-type generator uses an internal regulator. This regulator has built-in fault detection. |
| • | The vehicle uses a model CS-130D generator. The CS-130D generator uses the following components: |
| - | A delta stator |
| - | A rectifier bridge |
| - | A rotor with slip rings and brushes |
| • | A conventional pulley and dual internal fans cool the slip ring end frame, the rectifier bridge, and the regulator. |
Important: Do not attempt to disassemble the generator. If the generator becomes inoperative, replace the generator.
