ENGINE OIL LEVEL OPERATING RANGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 T, J, X, A, F, B And Y Series Passenger Cars And 'C-K-G' 10, 20, 30, P-20, P-30 And 'S' - 'T' Trucks

Engine oil levels for the subject vehicles are specified at the factory to be between 6mm (1/4 in.) below the 'full' mark and the full mark on the oil level indicator. Topping off the oil level on new vehicles to meet the 'full' mark when the oil level is at or above this minimum specification is not required and should not be charged to warranty.

The safe operating range for engine oil level is from the 'full' mark to the add mark.
