Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 735651  Size: SH
  1. Use a flat bladed tool in order to open the front and rear bezel covers.

  2. Object Number: 735652  Size: SH
  3. Position the stem of a flat bladed tool at the rear bezel.
  4. Push the rear bezel rearward 6 mm (1/4 in) and pull down on the handle in order to release the roof panel retaining tab.
  5. Position the stem of a flat bladed tool at the inside edge of the front bezel assembly.
  6. Push the front bezel assembly forward 6 mm (1/4 in) and pull down on the handle in order to release the roof panel retaining tab.

  8. Partially lower the headliner in order to expose the rear handle retaining tab (1).
  9. Insert the tip of a flat bladed tool into the rear retaining tab (1).
  10. With the retaining tab (1) released, pull down on the handle in order to release the roof panel tab from the bezel.

  11. Object Number: 735656  Size: SH
  12. Remove the handle from the roof panel.

  13. Object Number: 735655  Size: SH
  14. Partially lower the headliner in order to expose the front handle retaining tab (1).
  15. Insert the tip of a flat bladed tool into the front retaining tab (1).
  16. With the retaining tab (1) released, pull down on the handle in order to release the roof panel tab (2) from the bezel.
  17. Remove the handle from the roof panel.
  18. Rotate the bezels in order to release the bezel retaining tabs.
  19. Remove the bezels from the headliner.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the bezels to the headliner.
  2. Rotate the bezels in order to seat the bezel retaining tabs above the headliner.

  3. Object Number: 735656  Size: SH
  4. Install the front and rear roof panel tabs into the bezels.

  5. Object Number: 787593  Size: SH
  6. Ensure the top of the roof panel tab (2) is positioned over the plastic retaining tab (1).

  7. Object Number: 738047  Size: SH
  8. Using a flat bladed tool, carefully push up on the bottom of the front roof panel tab (1) until fully seated.
  9. Using a flat bladed tool, carefully push on the bottom of the rear roof panel tab until fully seated.
  10. Close the bezel covers.
  11. Pull downward on the assist handle to ensure the handle is fully secured to the roof panel.
