GM Certified Used Vehicles (CUV) and Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles (CPO) that are sold WITHIN the New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty period receive a New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty extension. In the past, warranty claims for electronic failures occurring during this extension period were submitted over WINS. Effective immediately, claims for warrantable failures occurring with audio, infotainment, instrumentation and display units are to be submitted to your ACDelco® Electronic Service Center on an ACD 1078A claim form. This applies to all qualified certified used vehicles within the extended New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty period.

Qualifications

Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick and GMC Extension Parameters

    • To receive the New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty extension, the qualified owner must have purchased their vehicle under the CUV Program with less than 36 months and 36,000 miles (48 months/50,000 miles for 1999 and prior Oldsmobile Aurora).
    • The New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty period is extended to 39 months or 39,000 miles (51 months/53,000 miles for 1999 and prior Oldsmobile Aurora), whichever occurs first.
    • An ACD 1078A claim form is to be submitted to your ACDelco® Electronic Service Center if a warrantable electronic failure has occurred on a qualified CUV within the extended New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty of 39 months or 39,000 miles (51 months/53,000 miles for 1999 and prior Oldsmobile Aurora), whichever occurs first.
