Makes 🢒 Oldsmobile 🢒 1996 🢒 Aurora 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 4T80-E 🢒 Lower Control Valve Body Assembly Removal

  1. Use a small screwdriver in order to disconnect the manual valve linkage clip (915).

    2. Object Number: 11849 Size: SH
  2. Use a small screwdriver in order to disconnect the electrical connectors from the following parts:
    3. • The 1-2 shift solenoid valve (909)
    • The 2-3 shift solenoid valve (909)
    • The automatic transmission fluid pressure manual valve position switch (936)
  3. Remove the wire harness from the two wiring harness clips.

    4. Object Number: 11850 Size: SH
  4. Remove the nine 10 mm bolts (534) from the oil transfer plate (956).
  5. Remove the oil transfer plate (956).

    6. Object Number: 11852 Size: SH
  6. Remove the two 10 mm nuts and the eleven 10 mm bolts from the lower controls assembly. Do not remove the four bolts indicated.
  7. Lift the lower channel plate, control valve body and accumulator assembly from the case as a single unit.
